Robin enjoys Under 17 County Championship Success

Buckinghamshire Under 17 Cricketers had a very good season. Having been promoted to South Division 2 the previous year they finished runners-up to Essex in a very competitive season.

Amongst the team was Buckingham Town’s wicket-keeper batsman Robin Pritchard who finished the season top of the ECB Under 17 Championship wicket-keepers rankings.

Matches take place over 2 days and Robin’s best game was the match against Wiltshire where he took 7 victims. In the heat of one of this summers hottest days he kept wicket with no byes in 150 overs over the 2 days and kept the team fielding to a high standard.
