In order to run such a big junior section there are a lot of people to thank. I’m sure you will all agree that the ground has been kept, once again, in immaculate condition. Our 2 groundsmen, Andy Harris and Norman Wilby (who has been at the club for nearly 60 years) put in many hours to keep the ground looking so good.

Friday nights provide training for nearly 90 children, together with a great social occasion for parents, siblings and senior club members.

Thanks to John, Sue & Sophie for all of their efforts running the bar and to all those parents who helped run the BBQ.

Finally thank you to all the coaches from all age groups who have given their time this season.

The club is always looking for more volunteers to help with coaching. There are a number of coaching courses being run over the winter —if you feel you can help please contact me.

WIZARDS WIN CUP

After last year’s narrow defeat the U10 Wizards, managed by Stu Helps, reached the final of the Shires League Cup. An outstanding team performance saw Buckingham run out impressive winners against local rivals Westbury.

Congratulations to all who appeared in the final , not forgetting the other boys who played for the Wizards during the 2009 season
