1st XI relegation confirmed
The Home Counties have confirmed that Buckingham Town Cricket Club will be relegated back to the Oxford Times Cherwell League for the 2003 season.

The news only came before the weekend when John Goodman - the HCPL Fixture Secretary - informed the club via email.

The formation of the HOME COUNTIES PREMIER CRICKET LEAGUE for season 2003 has been agreed as follows;-   

 

DIVISION ONE

Banbury

Basingstoke & North Hants

Beaconsfield

Hemel Hempstead Town (Division 2 East Champions)

Henley

High Wycombe

Oxford & Horspath (Division Two West Champions)

Radlett

Reading

Slough

 

DIVISION TWO (WEST)

Bicester & North Oxford (relegated from Division One)

Bletchley Town

Burnham

Falkland

Farnham Royal

Finchampstead (relegated from Division One)

Gerrards Cross (promoted from Morrant Thames Valley Cricket League)

Thame Town (promoted from The Oxford Times Cherwell League)

Tring Park

Wokingham

 

Amersham and Marlow were relegated to the Morrant Thames Valley Cricket League and Buckingham Town

relegated to The Oxford Times Cherwell League.

 

Shipton-Under-Wychwood were the Oxford Times Cherwell League winners but declined the invitation of promotion.  Thame Town as runners-up accepted the invitation.
