Champions of Division 9 of the Cherwell League Buckingham Town 3rds

drew their last game away to Aston Rowant 3rds with a very young side

which did well. Rowant started well and scored a useful 254-7 on a

difficult wicket. Stuart Helps was the pick of the bowlers with 3-55

and the other five bowlers used were all colts. Buckingham in reply lost a couple of early wickets but Tim Archdeacon(47) and Russ Thompson(37) did well before more wickets fell and colts Robin Pritchard 26n.o. and Matt Dipple(20) did well to prevent Buckingham losing.
