HUTT'S BOYS SEEM TO BE UNBEATABLE

Buckingham Town 3rds took a big step towards winning their League with a six
wicket win over a tricky Abingdon Vale 3rd XI.
Skipper Bob Hutt put the Oxon side into bat in an effort to gain maximum points and his decision proved correct as Buckingham took 30 points.
Abingdon scored a useful 223-3 with Helps, Dom Pritchard, Suresh Talsania and Will Roberts all bowling well.
Buckingham lost opener Archdeacon cheaply but Jonny Cater (57) and Suresh Talsania(72) put Buckingham into a winning position before Stuart Helps (40n.o.) and
Skipper Hutt 16n.o. saw Buckingham home comfortably in 38 overs.
Buckingham now only need six points from two games to clinch the title, something they could achieve this weekend when they entertain Princes Risborough 2nd XI at Stowe School.
