Hutt's Horwood Heartache
Buckingham Town 2nd XI lost their friendly against a strong Great Horwood Sunday side by 3 wickets. Buckingham electing to bat made a poor start collapsing to 25-4 against the pace of Matthew McStraw 4-11.Skipper Bob Hutt enabled a modest score 0f 130 all out was reached with a innings of 57 not out which included 11 boundaries with only Steve Kefford(19) and Dom Pritchard(12) reaching double figures.
Horwood made a poor start also and slumped to 71-7 but secured victory thanks to McStraw 32 not out and Roy Thomas 25 not out. Brijesh Valambhia took 3-18 for Buckingham from his 8 overs.
