HUTT'S BOYS SECURE DIVISION 9! |
| Buckingham
Town 3rds were crowned Division 9 champions with a comfortable win over Princes Risborough 2nds by 8 wickets. A fine effort this season with a side well balanced with youth and some experience. Risborough elected to bat and scored a modest 162-7. Colts bowlers Will Roberts and Ben Thorne bowled well to keep the runs down both conceding only 30 runs from their first 18 overs. Matt Dipple, and B. Valambhia then came onto bowl as Buckingham were in firm control and then Stuart Helps 2-16 and Dom Pritchard 3-31 both very bowled well. Buckingham saw openers J. Cater(29) and Russ Thompson(23) give them a useful start and were seen home by Stuart Helps(62n.o.) and Bob Hutt(29n.o.).
