Buckingham Town U13 vs Wolverton
Jonny Neeves writes:
Playing host to Wolverton in the Bucks U13 league, Town lost the
toss and fielded first. The visitors started with ten runs off the
first over but Josh Goff then promptly bowled out their number 2
and from then on Town took regular wickets from Nick Wilkes 1-1,
Harsh Jethra 2-5 and Jonny Neeves 2-5. The excellent display of
fielding included two run-outs between Goff and wicket-keeper Rob
How and a super catch by Jack Robbins, as Town bowled the visitors
out for 63.
With this reasonably easy target in mind Town got off to a fine
start with man of the match Wilkes off-driving five boundaries in
a quickfire 30 retired. Dilshan Direkze was out for 9 but Goff's
22 not out wrapped up a nine wicket win with 12 overs to spare.
