Buckingham Town v President's XI
Andy Bone writes:
Buckingham Town romped to a five-wicket victory against a
President's XI at Bourton Road on Sunday.
Dan Harris saw his side home with an unbeaten 80 after Matt Arnull
(23) and Russell Thompson (20) chipped in with early order runs.
Romsey's Mark Miller collect two for 41 from nine overs to be the
pick of the bowling for the President's XI.
Earlier in the day, John Merrell (68) and Keith Trodd (29) gave
the President's captain Bryn Jones a good platform but the middle
order struggled to find runs against the slow left arm of Andrew
Jones, who returned with figures of four for 33.
The President's XI posted a total of 192 all out.
A good day was enjoyed by everyone, including Bert Woodfield in
his role as President.
