Buckingham Town Cricket Club - May 20th 2004Buckingham Town Under 12 As v BsBuckingham Town Under 12 A's & B's met in their first 11 aside, 20 over game, writes Karen Cater.The B's fielded a mixture of U11's & U12's whilst the A's had a full complement of U12's. Buckingham A batted first & made an immediate impression. Notable performances were Callum Cater 22 run out, Tom Hill reaching 35 not out retired with a fine six, Jack Deal 30 not out retired & a fine display from Adam Bone who reached his retirement target of 30 not out in record time, scoring 6 fours. A's finished on 155 from their 20 overs. Top bowler for the B's was Matthew Simpkins whose tidy bowling earned him a wicket. B's found it hard going with the bat, A's bowling attack being too fierce. Pick of the bowlers was Steven Brunning taking 3-3 & the B's top scorer was Alex Vaughan-Fowler with 6 not out. B's were all out for 24. |
