Buckingham Town maintained their good start to the FG Watts season
when a young side guided them to an impressive 149-run victory.
Chris Board led the way and finished undefeated on 99 not out and
shared an opening stand of 109 with his Skipper Rob Large, who
made 80 runs.
Youth player Jonny Cater (35) continued his good progress with the
bat, while Jeetan Patel chipped in with 68 not out, as Town posted
306 for 2.
In reply, Town's young bowlers performed with aplomb with Ben
Stafford's eight-over spell collecting 2 for 34, while Russell
Thompson and Vish Valambhia picked up a wicket each as Town ran
out convincing winners.

Buckingham Town U15s got two more wins under their belt this week.
In the Bucks League Town restricted MK Park to 57 runs of their 15 overs.
Top Town bowlers were Dilshan Direkse 2-10 and Ben Stafford 2-9.
In reply Town cruised to victory with the loss of 2 wickets, Robin
Pritchard 16no and Krishan Talsania 15.
Buckingham U11 vs Cublington U12

On Sunday Buckingham U11 team played against Cublington U12 team. Cublington
batted first and made a score of 70 for 4.
Buckingham's bowler, George Baldock bowled a creditable 4 overs
for 1 wicket and 9 runs. Buckingham made a score of 40 for 9.
Joseph Payne had a determined innings facing over 50 balls,
staying in for over half the innings and was Buckingham's top
scorer with 12 not out.
