Buckingham Town 1st XI vs Wollaston 1st XI

Buckingham Town Ist's lost their Sunday League Challenge match away at
Wollaston by 54 runs with a weakened side due to the unavailability of
most of the normal sunday side.
A strong Wollaston side scored 198-6 from their 40 overs after
a good opening bowling spell from Ryan Spragg and Brijesh Valambhia.
Dom Pritchard took 3-37 with Ryan Spragg,Simon Board and Dan Harris
taking one each.
Buckingham made a good start with Dan Harris(48) and Kevin DeSilva(37)
in good form but lost wickets steadily after DeSilva was unlucky to
be adjudged lbw. Buckingham were dismissed for 144 a creditable
effort with a weakened side against strong opposition.

Buckingham Town 2nds drew their sunday friendly with Stony Stratford
in a 40 over a side match.
Buckingham won the toss and elected to bat. Buckingham made 162
all out.
Steve Kefford scored a useful 33 and young Nick Wilkes
made a good 20. Stony with only 10 men replied with 142-8 thanks mainly
to Capel 60n.o. as Buckingham failed to grab the last wicket to win the
game. Youngsters Dilsan Direkse 3-27 and Nick Wilkes 2-13 bowled very
well as did Adam Cook 2-24 and Jamie Hirst 1-12.
Two excellent catches were taken by Josh Goff and Steve Kefford.
Buckingham's youngsters did very well generally throughout the game.
