Buckingham Town 2nds beat Towcesterians in their sunday friendly by 41 runs.

Buckingham had a steady start through Archdeacon and M. Foster and then a sparking innings from Vishal Valambhia with 112n.o. saw runs come quickly assisted by Paul Board(34) and James Coxhill 27n.o. as Buckingham closed on 231-3 from their 40 overs.

Towcesterians lost three quick wickets but recovered to finish on a respectable 190-7.

Bugbrooke U14 vs Buckingham Town U14

Buckingham Town maintained their 100% record in the Shires U14 league with an 88 run win at Bugbrooke.

Batting first Town's innings total of 191 for 4 was built on a stand of 145 between Rob How (41) and Josh Goff (107). Goff's second century for the club in the week included 13 fours and 2 sixes.

The hosts quickly fell to 40-7 before recovering to 103 all out. Jonny Neeves was the pick of the bowlers with 4-7, ably supported by Luke Stafford (2-6) and Goff (2-10), with a wicket apiece to Steve Brunning and Anthony Carver. They were helped by two catches from Jack Robbins and one each from Stafford and Toby O'Neill.
