Towcester were put in to bat and made 112 for 6, mainly thanks to 53 retired from Jack Parish. Krishan Talsania was the pick of the bowlers with 3-14 in 5 overs, while Robin Pritchard had a good game behind the stumps, with two catches and no byes. In reply, Town's strong batting line-up again got themselves out rashly in the face of accurate bowling, only Nick Wilkes with 40 reaching double figures. Parish took 4-32 with off-spin, while Matt Yuill and G Linnell took 2 apiece as Town finsihed 83 all out. |
