Buckingham Town vs Buckinghamshire U17
Andy Bone writes:
Buckingham Town managed to get in some early practice as they lost
both of their pre-season warm up games at the weekend
At Oxford on Saturday, Town suffered a 29-run defeat after the
hosting Oxford 2nd posted 168 for 6.
Skipper Rob Large led from the front with the ball taking two for
21 from a seven over stint. The returning Paul Judd picked up one
for 27 from a tidy nine overs while Vish Valambhia chipped in with
one for 52.
In reply, Leigh Tomlinson (25) gave Town a foundation from which
Large (30) and James Tomlinson (24) built on. Town's lower order
failed to capitalise before they eventually succumbed to 139 all
out.
