Man of the match Luke Stafford (2-2) opened the bowling for Town and took two wickets in his first over, a blow from which Towcester never recovered. First change bowler Josh Mallett (2-7) did further damage before Josh Goodey, Nick Wilkes and Josh Goff also took wickets as the innings closed on 58-7. Only Nick Goodwin (13) and county all-rounder Tom Spencer (10) reached double figures. Marston's bowlers took three quick wickets (Alistair Dennison 2-12 from 4 overs) before Goff (23*) and Tom Jones (19*) saw Town safely home in 10.5 voers. |
