Wollaston vs Buckingham Town

Buckingham first XI beat Wollaston in their Sunday league match by 117 runs.

Batting first they scored a massive 305-7 from their 40 overs.

New overseas import Jimad Khan (106) was in fine form hitting 17 boundaries including three sixes in only his second match for the Club.

Greg Pearson(60) was in good form with the bat also and J.Tomlinson(35), Shiv Talsania(31) and Andy Thatcher(30) played supporting roles.

In reply Wollaston closed on 188-6 with Ben Stafford taking 3-41.

Buckingham Town 2nds lost their sunday friendly against Winslow by 39 runs. Winslow batting first scored a useful 247 from their 40 overs. Glyn Davies was in good form with a hard hitting 83 not out well supported by Kieran Price(55) and D. Stolworthy(32). Colts Harsh Jethra and Stuart Powell both bowled very well. In reply Ian Wilkinson(32) retired hurt. Kevin Desilva(66) batted well and newcomer John Talbot hit an excellent 67 after seven years away from the game.
