Town somehow managed to get a GIGANTIC 217-1 from 20 overs, larger than previous week's score of 213-5! It was down to 3 high class performances with the bat:
  • Rob Pritchard made a quality 92 Not Out, carrying his bat
  • Krishan Talsania supported Pritchard well with 76 Not Out.
  • Tom Jones started the innings off with a brisk 19.
Town then managed to take a useful 7 wickets in their bowling performance to continue their title bid in style. City finished nearly 150 runs short of the score Town had posted!

Town finished up with 10 points for their victory and 8 Bonus Points (5 batting and 3 bowling)

Shot Of The Night: Rob Pritchard - Slog sweep for six, leading to cries of "lost ball!"

Next up for Town U16's is a must win away fixture against close rivals North Crawley, who are due revenge after a narrow win in the earlier game between the sides this season. Hair Moda League, 6.15pm start, Thursday 15th June.
