Buckingham Town Youth vs Stoke Hammond Youth
Bob Hutt writes:
A mixture of Buckingham youth and Stoke Hammond youth
played a friendly 20 cover per side at Buckingham and it
was an excellent match which resulted in a tie. Town
batted first and scored 144-5.
For Buckingham Josh
Whitehead(51) and Dan Hassell(50) were top scorers before
they both retired.
Stoke Hammond made a solid start through
R. Tooth(27) and Corry(36).
Jack Kempster 48n.o. was the star
of the Hammond batting and he hit a superb six of the last ball
of the game to make the result a tie, in fading light.
A very enjoyable evening for all the players and spectators.
