Milton Keynes Park vs Buckingham Town

Andrew Holland writes:

Rain stops play

In overcast conditions, Rob Large won the toss and inserted Milton Keynes. Greg Pearson bowled a maiden first up before Jason Ell took 2 wickets in 5 balls to leave the score at 2-2. Pearson then had the other opener caught behind and the hosts were 2-3. Buckingham let up though and the next two batsmen were able to get stuck in and build a partnership. However, with the score on 63, Milton Keynes experienced another collapse as Ben Stafford and James Gear each took a wicket along with a run out to leave the score 80-6. Mike Alston stuck in though and eventually reached 50 off 101 balls. Clark came in and scored fairly quickly as the Buckingham failed to take another wicket. Alston finished on 85 while Clark scored 36 from 50 balls. However, the rain came and there was no more play.
