Buckingham Town Cricket Club - August 5th 2007Stewkley vs Buckingham Town 2nd XIBob Hutt writes:Buckingham Town 2nds lost their Sunday friendly against Stewkley by 22 runs. Town's skipper Ian Wilkinson lost the toss and Stewkley decided to bat first. They scored a respectable 195-6 from their 40 overs. Their star bat was T. Beasley who scored 106 before being bowled by Laird. Town actually used ten bowlers !. Rob Laird took 2-16. Town made a poor start losing three wickets for just 16 runs with R. Pritvhard,S. Brunning and T. Hill all dismissed. Dom Pritchard(35) and K. D'Silva(26) improved matters and Callum Cater(14) and Ian Wilkinson(10) scored useful runs. Jonny Cater(39) was in good form and Town had a chance of victory until his dismissal. At one stage Town were 153-6. Town were bowled out in 35.3 overs. Innings of Stewkley
