Town batted first, with 10 men, and lost both openers Jonny Cater, returning after injury, and Steve Beck for ducks and Ben Stafford also went cheaply. J. Khan(25), Robin Pritchard(30) and Kevin D'Silva(30) improved matters and tail ender Chris Horsler saw Town to a respectable 179-9 with 45 not out. Irthlingborough never threatened to win the game and were dismissed for 89. Steve Beck took 4-22 and Jonny Cater 2-20 whilst L. D'Silva, J. Khan and C.
