Great Brickhill vs Buckingham Town 2nd XI
Bob Hutt writes:
Buckingham Town 2nds lost by six wickets to Great Brickhill 2nds
in their sunday friendly.
Town elected to bat and made a good start through colts steve
bruning(23) and tom hill(29) but after reaching 90 for the loss of
two wickets they collapsed and were bowled out for just 138.
Skipper Bob Hutt 30 n.o.looked in good form but run out of
partners as Town disappointed being bowled out after just 34
overs.
Great Brickhill to their credit fielded well and took some good
catches and Towns cause was not helped with two run outs.
Brickhill had to thank T. Hardy (64) for their win.
Town's bowlers tried hard but defending such a low score was
always going to be hard.
