Buckingham Town Cricket Club - June 17th 2007

Jimad Khan took 2-29 and Ben Stafford and John took a wicket apiece and there was one run out.

Buckingham won comfortably thanks to skipper Jonny Cater(48) and Lee Tomlinson 69 not out. Newcomer John Hare made 23 on his debut at Bourton Road.

Town batted first on a damp difficult wicket and early batsmen Adrian Johnson(27) and colt Steve Brunning(26) batted well scoring valuable runs. Callum Cater 16 not out and Tom Hill(12) were the only other players to reach double figures.

Greaves took 3-12 from his eight overs as Town's 2nds reached 123 all out.

Drayton struggled against Town's youthful attack and were dismissed for 81 with only Greaves(24) and Powell(19) reaching double figures. Luke Stafford 3-11 bowled well as did all the bowlers all of whom were 15 or under. Frank Johnson(2-16) and Steve Brunning(2-7) did well and Tom Hill,Robbie Laird and callum Cater took a wicket apiece.
