Town batted first and scored a useful 227-3 from only 32 overs before declaring. Jonny Cater(57) and Ian Wilkinson(23) made a solid start and James Tomlinson 46n.o. carried on the good work and the main innings came from Jimad Khan in sparkling form with 82n.o. from just 41 balls. Chase made a good start through Aris(54),Jarvis(18) and Watson(30) but after their dismissal fell away to 166 all out. James Tomlinson 5-14 and Dilshan Direkze both bowled their spin well.
