Buckingham Town Cricket Club - August 8th 2008

Bablake, from Coventry, batted first and scored a useful 122-6 from their 20 overs. Jack Deal 3-12 bowled well and S. Brunning and C. Cater picked up a wicket apiece and there was one run out.

Buckingham started well with Jack Deal(51) in splendid form well supported by Steve Brunning(17) and Adam Bone(27). At 97-1 Town suffered a collapse in fading light but the winning runs came from Callum Cater(11no) with just one ball of the match left as Town closed on 126-5 in a thrilling finish.

Town are away next round to Old Swinford(Dudley). Thanks to Preston Bissett CC for the use of their ground.
