Sunday challenge league match by 29 runs.
Buckingham
batted first and scored a useful 229-5.
Lawrence D'Silva 56 not
out was in fine form and received good support from Chris Wigan
(54) and Steve Beck(44) after Robbie Cook(15) and Kevin D'Silva
(15) had scored useful runs.
For Stony, Winkworth picked up
2-38 and Ahmed 2-26.
In reply Stony made a respectable 200-7
thanks mainly to Vijay(57) and Raja(38).
For Buckingham
Rob Laird took 2-36 and L. D'Silva took 2-24.

Buckingham Town 2nd XI vs Stony Stratford 2nd XI

Buckingham Town 2nds lost their friendly against Stony Stratford
by 10 runs in an excellent match where both sides played alot of
youngsters.
Stony elected to bat and made a useful 181-8 from
their 40 overs. Opener M. Chaplin(80) batted well and was the mainstay
of their innings.
Matt Dipple and Andy Norman grabbed a couple of
wickets apiece.
Town in reply lost two quick wickets but their middle
order batsmen scored useful runs.
Adrian Johnson(39) and Rod
Bridgman(25) batted well with Hutt(13),C.Cater(12) and H. Martin(11)
scoring useful runs.
At 109-7 Stony were well on top but a fine innings
from Matt Dipple 39not out almost saw Buckingham win but finally they lost by
10 runs in the last over.
