Buckingham Town vs Bucks -17s
Bob Hutt writes:
Buckingham Town lost their friendly against Bucks -17s after a
disappointing all round batting and bowling performance. Both
teams used 12 players in each squad.
The -17's batted first and scored a useful 231-7 from their 50
overs and Towns bowlers had little joy but Graham Judd picked up
3-48. For Bucks Alex Walker was in fine form with 77.
Bowden(32) and Cater(30) got Town off to a brisk start after Dan
Harris had been bowled early on but after they were dismissed
Buckingham's batting fell away against a tidy bowling attack and
Buckingham closed on 159 all out.
James Tomlinson grafted for his 34 n.o.
