Buckingham Town U14 vs MK City U14

Buckingham Towns Under 14's in fine form.
Buckingham Town Under 14's visited MK City's ground team on cold
dull Wednesday night.
Buckingham battered first with all the front line batsmen scoring
runs, Johnson hit a fine 25 and Whitehead a hard hitting 27, but
it was Caters hard hitting 32 not out that set up a fine score of
132 for 4 in 20 overs.
Buckingham's bowlers were always on top, making scoring difficult
for the MK City team, Sahazad hit a fine 28 but no other batman
made double figures in a total of 59 for 4 in 20 overs.
Whitehead put in another fine bowling performance of 4 overs for
no runs, he was ably supported by the ever steady Hill 3 overs for
4 runs, however the performance of the day went to Johnson who
took 2 for 7 in 3 overs.
A fine performance all round.
Buckingham Town U15 vs Wolverton U15

Buckingham Towns Under 15's out of the Cup.
Buckingham Town Under 15's entertained Wolverton on Wednesday
night in the Under 15's National Club Championship.
Buckingham were put in to bat on a cold dark dank evening, Scoring
was steady but wickets fell at regular intervals. Matt Iceton
produced the inning of the day with a fine unbeaten 57, ably
supported by Hassell (12) and Dearlove 10 not out. Buckingham
managed to reach a respectable score of 108 for 6 off of there 20
overs.
The pick of the Wolverton bowlers was Potter 2 for 17 and Akhlaq 2
for 7.
Wolverton started slowly due to some fine bowling by King and
Dearlove.
Charmings made 11 before being removed by Dearlove with the score
on 27, Marshall and Evans quickly followed and when the dangerous
Potter was Caught by Iceton for 22 with the score on 68 for 4 with
45 over to go the match looked as if it had swung Buckingham's
way.
Ahklaq put in a man of the match performance by hitting a
belligerent 34 not out to see Wolverton home with 6 balls to go.
Wolverton ending up on 110 for 5.
Whilst the result did not go Buckingham's way this was another
fine performance with the bat and in the most part with the
ball. Buckingham will hope to carry this level of performance
through the rest of the season.
