Buckingham Town Cricket Club - May 6th 2008BTCC Under 13's vs Olney Town BJohn Pengelly writes:Buckingham Towns Under 13's start with a win.Buckingham Town Under 13's entertained Olney Towns B team on Tuesday night.Olney were put in to bat with Jamie Kamen scoring a secure 21 ably supported by Parkin (16) and Windell (12). Despite tight bowling from Handyside (4 - 9) and Harry Martin (2 -8) and Jamie Craik (1 - 5) Olney posted a respectable 85 for 9 in their 20 overs. Buckingham started briskly despite the early loss of Martin for 9. Josh Hill and Thomas Cox scored freely until first Cox (21) was caught and balled by Fin for 21 and Hill had retire having reached 31 runs left the fray. Jamie Craik and Paul Mundy kept the pressure on the Olney bowling with quick singles being taken freely. In the Buckingham scored 86 for 3 from just 15 overs to secure the win. |
