Buckingham batted first and scored a useful 224-4 from their 40 overs. Opener Alex Walters was in good form with 80 not out well assisted by Lawrence D'Silva(47) and Tom North(24). Skipper Hutt won the toss and elected to bat and Town posted an impressive 229-5 from their 40 overs. Star of the innings was Stuart Helps who was in fine form scoring 112 not out from 119 delieveries. Mike Taylor(51) supported Stuart with a solid knock. In reply the University scored quickly but once their early batsman had gone then Buck Seyed Waqas had a brace and young Jordan Helps bowled four tidy overs for 17 runs and picked up his first wicket at senior level.
