With much needed practice required by all both captains agreed that batsmen reaching 50 should retire. Buckingham put into bat lost an early wicket but recovered with fine batting from Russell Thompson(50) and Callum Cater (51). Anant Peshavaria 38 and Chris Coates 28 carried on the good work and they both also retired. Buckingham made a respectable 225-2. In reply the OU with a stronger batting line up than normal for a sunday started off very briskly despatching the ball all round the ground with both openers reaching fifty quickly and retiring. Buckingham did grab just three wickets as the OU strolled to victory. Seyed Waqas took 1-15 from his six overs. Young Arjun Patel and Callum Cater also had one wicket apiece. 11 year old Ollie Plummer-Clarke made his debut for a Town senior side and is definately one for the future.
