Buckingham Town 2nds lost their sunday friendly by 60
runs to a strong New Bradwell 2nds side. Batting first
New Bradwell scored a useful 249-4 from their 40 overs with 54 runs
coming from the last five overs. Young Ollie Plummer-Clarke took 1-22
from his 4 overs.
In reply Buckingham made a good start through James Clark(22) and
the in form skipper Andy Thatcher(76). After their departure wickets
fell reguarly as Buckingham fell behind the run rate. Town closed on
189-9. Young Ryan Freshwater batted well for his 19 runs.
For Bradwell Ritches 5-33 and Langley 3-25 did the damage with Dave
Little 0-16 from his 8 overs.
