Towcesterians vs Buckingham Town 2nd XI
Bob Hutt writes:
Buckingham Town sunday 2nds suffered a heavy defeat away to
Towcesterians. Both sides played many youngsters which is good for
the future of both clubs.
Buckingham batting first struggled throughout to a meagre 93 all
out against a very good young bowling side. Only two players
reached double figures with good efforts. Matt Folkes(19) and
young Ryan Freshwater(20). D. Freeborough 6-4-7-4 and W. Steenkamp
8-2-18-3 did the damage with Palmiero 5-2-8-1 very tidy.
In reply Roodt(57no) and J. Gilder(26) smashed the runs off in
just 10 overs losing one wicket to an excellent caught and bowled
by Ryan Freshwater.
