Buckingham Town Cricket Club - June 20th 2010Buckingham Town vs Stony StratfordBob Hutt writes:Buckingham had a comfortable 134 win over Stony Stratford in their MK Sunday League match. Buckingham batted first and openers Jonny Cater(59) and Adrian Johnson(46) gave them a good start and their efforts were supported by Graham Judd(50) and Steve Beck who retired on 47 with Kevin D'Silva 27 not out in a total of 255-8. Stony lost wickets steadily from the start. Smart catches by Jordan Helps and Graham Judd dismissed both openers and only Chris Guy(28) looked in good form before being well caught by skipper Chris Wigan. Stony were bowled out for 121 with Josh Nix taking 3-34 and Frank Johnson 2-18. Young Jordan Helps will remember his first senior 1st xi game for the Club taking 3-19 along with his good catch.
