Castlethorpe vs Buckingham Town
Bob Hutt writes:
Buckingham's MK Sunday league match against Castlethorpe
was abandoned because of rain after tea. Buckingham won
the toss and skipper Jason Ell elected to bat. After losing
three quick wickets Town were struggling but were rescued by
a sparkling innings from Dan Harris(86) who crashed the ball to
all parts of the ground with some hard hitting. Andy Thatcher(23)
and Tom North 17 not out scored useful runs after an impressive
innings by Jason Ell(51) who batted very well as Town reached
204-8 from their 40 overs.
In reply Castlethorpe were 8-0 when rain cut short the match.
