New Bradwell vs Buckingham Town
Bob Hutt writes:
Buckingham Town 1sts lost a high scoring MK Sunday League match by
14 runs away to New Bradwell.
Bradwell elected to bat and scored a useful 247 all out.
Skipper R. Lall(71) led the way with the bat after opener
Quelch(45) had scored useful runs.
For Town Chris Coates cleaned up at the end with 5-36. James
Tomlinson took an excellent catch in the deep and Jonny Cater took
three good catches in the deep.
In Reply Town slumped to 61-6 after openers J. Cater(19) and Andy
Thatcher(21) looked like scoring more than they did. Leigh
Tomlinson(76) batted superbly with great support from Neville
Pritchard(44) who hit four big sixes. Graham Judd came in and did
very well for his 39 and towards the end Town looked possible
winners but excellent catches dismissed Tomlinson and Judd.
